The product shown below is a mosquito repellent designed for five to ten years from now. When placed it appears as a lamp, however has a sensor to detect minor movements made by insects to repel them. When ideating, one idea was focused more on aesthetics, and one more towards functionality. For the final rendering, the one with functionality as a focus was chosen.
The design chosen was inspired by the futurism movement, given it's metallic finish and unique form.
